Climate Change is a major issue that affects millions of people around the world. At Gabriel Adewunmi Alabi Foundation (GAAF), we echo what HM Prince William in an interview with CNN, ahead of Nov 2025 COP30 Climate Summit in Brazil - said young people needed to see climate "solutions" to give them hope for the future. In GAAF, we believe our children deserves a world free from climate anxiety. Our goal is to raise awareness via educational campaigns across schools in Nigeria about the causes, risks, and outcomes of climate change and global warming addressing how crucial it is to eradicate unsustainable practices caused primarily by human activities i.e deforestation, the excessive use of fossil fuels, oil spills and poor waste management including the dumping of plastic waste on streets, gutters, rivers and seas. These practices deplete resources faster than they can regenerate, harm ecosystems, and contribute to climate change and other global challenges.
There are many ways to get involved with Gabriel Adewunmi Alabi Foundation (GAAF), from volunteering your time to making a donation. Every little helps us to make a difference!
